ROCK FINANCIAL FURTHER ENHANCES ONLINE MORTGAGE PROCESS WITH NEXT GENERATION ROCKFINANCIAL.COM WEB SITE

Livonia, Mich. April 27, 2005 - Rock Financial, a Quicken® Loans® company and Michigan's largest mortgage company, has re-launched its Web site (http://www.RockFinancial.com) giving consumers more tools and greater functionality to learn about the mortgage process, explore their options and even start the mortgage application process online.

The new site is built on an updated application platform and user interface. It now has a more inviting look and feel and because of the new technology enhancements allows users to gain mortgage payment information customized to their individual situation.

Interactive Mortgage Payment Calculator. One of the site's key features is an interactive Mortgage Payment Calculator that lets consumers compare projected mortgage payments and interest rates on up to five different loan programs, whether they're purchasing or refinancing. Clients simply fill in three form fields with information such as their current mortgage payment and expected loan amount. Within seconds, the calculator accesses rate and payment information and produces customized results.

"The number one goal of our Web site is to make it easy and hassle-free for clients to learn about their mortgage options," said Bryan Stapp, Rock Financial's Vice President of Marketing. "We take the mystery out of the mortgage process by providing tools like articles and calculators. These resources let people research their situation before contacting a mortgage expert. And they can do so from the privacy of their own home any time they like-24 hours a day, seven days a week."

Home Affordability Calculator. Another new feature of the RockFinancial.com site is a Home Affordability Calculator. By providing their expected monthly mortgage payment, monthly debt, planned down payment and the state where they're buying a new home, buyers learn how much home they can afford. The calculator also provides clients with several different mortgage programs and their expected monthly payment on each.

Shortened Mortgage Application Process. Improving the client experience also meant streamlining the online mortgage application process. Thanks to the site's new application platform, clients can now get the mortgage process started in less than a minute. Rather than filling out a long form over a series of screens, users can submit their information and be immediately contacted by a mortgage professional to review their options.

Enhanced Communications. The new RockFinancial.com site also makes use of Web-based technology that allows users to speak directly with a mortgage expert over the Internet. For example, users can choose PC Talk, which allows them to use their computer like a telephone and speak directly with a Rock Financial mortgage banker. Or, if users prefer, they can select Rock Financial's Online Chat system or unique "Request a Call" feature.

Electronic Signature / Online Loan Status via MyRockFinancial.com. Through MyRockFinancial.com clients can electronically sign their applications and view all of their mortgage documents online. This feature eliminates the need for faxing or mailing mortgage documents and can take several days off the mortgage process.

Clients also can see the status of their loan at any time, and set their loan notification preferences. An automated system keeps clients informed of their loan status at every stage of the mortgage process, from application to closing. Users even decide whether to receive these updates via phone, email or both.

Security and Privacy. Users should feel confident that any information they provide Rock Financial remains private and secure. The company uses VeriSign™ services, which provide a secure environment for consumers transacting online.

Rock Financial also is a member of the TRUSTe Privacy Program-an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting consumers' private information. Rock Financial does not share its clients' personal information with outside companies for their promotional use.

"The new Rock Financial site is a safe and secure resource for all clients, whether they're looking to purchase a new home, refinance their existing mortgage or take out a home equity loan," said Stapp. "The mortgage calculators, articles and MyRockFinancial.com make our site robust, giving clients the same great experience online they've always received when speaking personally to one of our mortgage experts."
