Rock Financial/Quicken Loans becomes First Corporate Partner in American Red Cross "Home Team" Campaign
DETROIT (May 1, 2007) — Rock Financial/Quicken Loans has partnered with the American Red Cross - Southeastern Michigan Chapter to encourage others to join them in investing their time and resources in the causes the local Red Cross supports. David Hall of Rock Financial/Quicken Loans and Freman Hendrix, board chair of the local Red Cross chapter, will begin appearing in public service announcements (PSAs) this month about the Home Team Red Cross."
During the past two years Rock Financial/Quicken Loans has become a major contributor to the local Red Cross, which includes serving as presenting sponsorship for the annual Red Cross "Blanket Days for the Homeless" campaign the past two years.
The Red Cross "Home Team" campaign began last summer with popular Detroit sports personalities telling the local Red Cross story. Each professional team provided a player to participate in PSAs and other community relations activities encouraging support of your local Red Cross chapter - your Home Team Red Cross. Now the campaign includes a prominent figure in local business by including Rock Financial/Quicken Loans' David Hall.

The local Red Cross chapter provides emergency food, clothing and shelter to an average of four families every day in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. The financial support of Rock Financial/Quicken Loans and others enables the agency to continue this local humanitarian work.
