QUICKEN LOANS/ROCK FINANCIAL CHAIRMAN AND FOUNDER TO SPEAK AT UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN ENTREPALOOZA 2005


Livonia, Mich. (Sept. 17, 2005)—Daniel Gilbert, chairman and founder of Quicken Loans/Rock Financial, and the majority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA basketball team, will be the keynote speaker at the University of Michigan's "Entrepalooza 2005" entrepreneurship event on Sept. 23.

Entrepalooza is presented each year by the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan. The theme for this year's Entrepalooza is "Define Your Path."

As keynote, Gilbert will discuss the vibrant culture of his companies, entrepreneurship and how Quicken Loans/Rock Financial has become the nation's largest online lender. He believes that creating a culture of empowerment is one of the key components that make Quicken Loans a great place to work.
